News Anchor Uses 'Stage' Voice At Home And Her Husband Is Not Amused

News anchors have a knack for catching our attention with their tone of voice and how they enunciate their stories. It’s the preferred way of speaking on television, but it’s not how we normally speak with one another. A Fox news anchor, Jeannette Reyes, decided to use her stage voice at home and her husband’s reactions show was not amused.

For those who aren’t familiar with the news industry, reporters are trained from the time they’re in college to enunciate and use different tones to keep the listener or viewer interested in the story. Presenting news stories isn’t just about reading words from on a teleprompter or from paper. There is a lot more that goes into making a video announcement sound professional. In fact, several years of time and energy go into practice! But, it’s one thing to listen to the news for a few minutes but it’s an entirely new ball game when your spouse uses her stage voice all afternoon.

In fact, that is exactly what Jeannette did. Not only did she use her stage voice to communicate with her husband all afternoon, but she also took a video of the events. It’s a good thing her husband Robert was a good sport because the video went viral after she posted it to Instagram. The comical video quickly received 91,000 views and kept climbing. One can’t help but giggle as she announces that she’s home.

She then announces in her news voice, “I’m sending things over to my colleague Robert Burton. You know Robert, it was such a wild day at work. How were things on your end?” Her husband just looked at her like she had lost her mind. Then she responds, “Ok, seems like we’re having some technical issues.”

It gets even more hilarious to hear the play-by-play of what her husband is doing. Whether it was opening the fridge, grabbing a carton of milk, making dinner, or going to bed, Jeannette wasted no time ensuring all actions were clearly communicated.

What makes this video humorous is the obvious love and patience this man has for his wife! It will have you in stitches for sure.
