Dave Fenley grew up with music in his soul and God in his heart. He started writing songs and performing in bars when he was a teenager. He discovered that music was his calling a few years later and dropped out of college.
Almost 10 years ago, Dave made it to the semi-finals of ‘America’s Got Talent.’ In 2015, he appeared on season 8 of ‘The Voice’ but got eliminated before the finals. Although he didn’t win those reality competitions, he still writes and records music. Thank goodness!
He has performed with well-known country stars including Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley. Currently, Dave writes music in Nashville for both himself and other artists.
‘God In It’ acts as a great song to listen to in your car on some back roads with your windows down. It’s a feel-good country worship song, and there’s no other way to put it!

When you know no matter what ya do you’re never gonna walk this road alone
The song is relatable because the lyrics have a bunch of situations where you can find God. Situations where things may not be the best, but everyone will be okay because there’s ‘God in it.’
Dave’s setup for the video is laidback. Nothing fancy or glamorous. He just seems to be in his recording studio, and that’s what I love about the feeling of this song. No matter where you are or who you are, God will watch over you every step of the way if you just have a little faith.
