Kevin a blind musician

I teach ukulele lessons at Massanutten Resort. Kevin was a student in one of my classes. Kevin is blind and from Baltimore, MD. He's a cool guy and fun to hang and chat with. I have family connections in Baltimore, MD and like that city. Go O's! I hope we can jam again some time.

"Kumbaya, My Lord" is a Gullah song. Gullah people are West African slaves that settled in South Carolina and Georgia coastal areas mostly, but also the North Carolina and Florida coast. The Gullah people took syllables out of sentences when they spoke to make them shorter and it became a language they could understand. "Kumbaya, My Lord" means "Come by Here, My Lord"
