Her Adult Son Wouldn't Answer The Phone, So Mom Left A Message On His Video Doorbell

If you need a good laugh, check out this hilarious video. A mom left a message via her adult son’s video doorbell camera since he did not answer the phone.

Maria tried to get ahold of her son through traditional means, but she did not get a response. Instead of getting angry, she decided to get creative with her invitation to dinner by going to his house and leaving a message by video with the Ring doorbell at her son’s house in Rialto, California.

Maria begins by saying, “We are having tacos night, so if you like to eat, you just come over.” It is both hysterical and heartwarming that this mama wants her son to know that he can eat free food at her house. I love how Maria went out of her way to love her son. She was not going to miss the opportunity to extend kindness and hospitality to him.

Many times in life, we are called to go above and beyond to love others for the sake of Christ. It is not always easy, but it is honoring to the Lord and loving to the person whom we are ministering. Is there a person who you need to go out of your way to love today? Who can you reach out to like Maria did to her son? Maria is an example to all of us in the beautiful way that she loves and extends kindness.

“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus," Philippians 2:3-5

As adults, how do we move past all the voices that have been telling us throughout our lives that we need to “grow up” and “stop behaving like a child”?
