My Jesus' Anne Wilson Performs Live In Nashville

Check out this uplifting music video of ‘My Jesus’ by Anne Wilson.

“He makes a way where there ain’t no way, rises up from an empty grave
Ain’t no sinner that He can’t save, let me tell you ‘bout my Jesus
His love is strong and His grace is free and the good news is I know that He
Can do for you what He’s done for me, let me tell you ‘bout my Jesus
And let my Jesus change your life, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, amen, amen”

Anne Wilson has such a beautiful voice, and this song that she performed is so wonderful! There is such a full sound in the video with all the musicians and background vocalists joining in song with Anne.

According to her YouTube page, “the lyrics of Hillsong Worship’s ‘What A Beautiful Name’ became a lifeline for the Lexington, Kentucky native after her brother was tragically killed in a car accident at the age of 23.”

Anne sang in front of an audience for the first time at her brother’s funeral. And it was at that time that she realized singing was what she was created to do.

A video of that moving performance made its way around online, and eventually landed Anne a record deal. “With a mesmerizing voice and a visible hunger for Jesus, the 19-year-old relies on personal journal entries and time spent in nature for songwriting inspiration. Her rootsy sound reflects her strong southern upbringing and her admiration for country royalty like Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton married with the heart-on-your-sleeve transparency of Steffany Gretzinger and Lauren Daigle.”

Her song ‘My Jesus’ is a hit and encourages others daily. And reminds us of what a joy it is to know Jesus and sing praises to his name!

“Listen to this song on a daily basis!” comments one person online. “Powerful reminder about the call we have to make disciples who make disciples for Christ!”

“I can’t tell you how much I love this song,” writes another person on YouTube. “God has truly blessed you, Anne. I think I speak for everyone when I say I look forward to new songs in the future! Praise our Lord!”

May God continue to use Anne Wilson and her talents to uplift others and bring glory to His name!
