Christian vocalist Jason Crabb steps onto the Grand Ole Opry stage for a beautiful rendition of ‘He Stopped Loving Her Today.’ Country superstar George Jones originally performed this iconic song in 1980. The power ballad catapulted Jones to the top of the charts and began his lasting legacy in country music. The lyrics tell the story of a man who continued to love one woman his entire life. Even though they were never together, he kept notes and letters and hoped that she would come back into his life. But one day, he stops loving her and that was the day that he passed away.

“He stopped loving her today
They placed a wreath upon his door
And soon they'll carry him away
He stopped loving her today”

Today, Jason Crabb is at the Grand Ole Opry and he’s performing this George Jones classic. Jason was the lead singer of The Crabb Family band before they retired in 2007. Now, Jason is a Grammy award-winning solo artist leading the way with songs such as ‘Love Is Stonger’ and ‘The Song Lives On.’

This stage is an incredible platform for Jason to share his gift with the world and he’s definitely got a voice that you need to hear.
