Josh Turner has finally released the gospel album that his fans have been asking him to do for years. But what’s truly special about this album is that Turner himself has shared that it was a dream come true for him. “My faith is the most important thing to me,” Turner said in a release. “I want people to hear the sentiment and heart behind this record. I want them to feel the same inspiration that I felt. I want them to feel that and hopefully they’ll make these songs a part of their life.”

With such an important gospel hymn like “Amazing Grace”, it’s hard to make it better than has already been tackled. But Turner’s deep southern sound mixed with incredibly talented musicians playing along with him as created a stunning version of this believer’s anthem. How wonderful to sing out the glory of God and repeat a testimony of peace no matter the storm!
