This special song, and Ellie’s entire new record, was inspired by her father’s battle with cancer. She told CBN, "I wrote this record about how I'd seen God show up in the middle of all the pain and all the ache. I know now more than I did two years ago that He's faithful, that He's faithful no matter what we're facing. So this record really tells that story, it's what I needed to sing to my own soul.” Even when her heart was breaking, Ellie was able to find the goodness in our Lord. It was during those tough times that her faith was strengthened and her family relied on His love more than ever.
Now, Ellie’s father is cancer free and she can praise the Lord in a way she never thought possible. When we allow God into our hearts, He will give us the strength to make it through any obstacle. Let God lead the way and you will never be lost. Who else is singing these words out loud right now?
