Lioness Reacts To Toddler's Stuffed Animal Lion - Staff Picks

There is no doubt that the lion is known as the king of the jungle. They can be dangerous predators and many smaller animals live in fear of lions. But no matter the size, God's creatures never cease to amaze me. He truly put so much thought into each and every animal that they are a wonder to behold.

Take this lioness, for instance. Moto is a 3-year-old lioness at the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden. And this curious creature is going viral all over the Internet after a recent encounter with a little girl. The young girl brought a stuffed animal Simba from the Disney movie ‘The Lion King’ with her to the zoo. And when she got to the lion exhibit, she was excited to show Moto her toy. As soon as she held up the stuffed animal, Moto immediately responded.

The lioness started to paw at the glass and even followed the girl as she walked around. Moto has only been at the Oklahoma City Zoo for a few months, but she’s obviously making a big impression already. A lot of visitors have been able to see this lioness up close and personal because she likes to interact with people.

I just love the look on the little girl’s face when she sees the lion so interested in her toy. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience and I am so glad that it was all caught on camera. Aren’t God’s creatures just so amazing?
