Great Dane Gives Birth To Rare Green Puppy
This Great Dane momma was in for a big surprise when she delivered a green puppy. This is incredibly rare and we believe it happens when light-colored puppies come in contact with biliverdin, a green pigment found in bile.
It essentially dyes their fur in the womb, but over time the color will fade. There have only been a handful of puppies in the entire world that have been born with this condition. In a few weeks, the puppy's green color will fade but for now, the family has named him Hulk.
