In a time when our teachers are limited to a computer screen, it can be hard to keep students interested and engaged. That’s why we are increasingly thankful for the special few teachers with the passion to work through such complications to keep our students focused. One such example is kindergarten teacher/principal, Mr. Kenny.

As our teachers and students enter the spring semester of their classes, we recognize we are approaching an entire year since we began our online class structure. With this season has come many changes in how we teach, learn and study.

In this viral TikTok video we can see Bay Area kindergarten teacher, Ms. P., peeking into her co-teacher, Mr. Kenny’s office to investigate some of his masterful teaching techniques. As Ms. P. pokes the camera through the office door we see a very enthusiastic Mr. Kenny up out of his chair and leading the kids in his class through a fun dance routine. We can see the dancing figures of little kids in the zoom lecture on his screen, confirming Mr. Kenny was successful in getting the kids up and excited for school time.

Since its release the clip of Mr. Kenny has gone viral. In less than a week the video has been seen by more than one-and-a-half-million viewers, and the nearly ten-thousand comments written are almost all praising Mr. Kenny for his enthusiasm for teaching.

They even started an Amazon wishlist for the energetic teacher for those that want to support Mr. Kenny in his future teaching endeavors.
