Little Big Town Performs Kenny Rogers Tribute 'Sweet Music Man'

Little Big Town honors country great, Kenny Rogers, with a stunning performance of ‘Sweet Music Man’ at the 2020 Country Music Awards.

Kenny Rogers was one of the great voices in the entire music industry. For decades, he gave us chart-topping hits such as ‘The Gambler’ and ‘Lady.’ Sadly, in 2020, Kenny Rogers passed away at the age of 81. But there’s no doubt that he left a lasting impression on the music world that will never be forgotten. One of his most iconic songs is ‘Sweet Music Man.’

“Sing a song sweet music man 'cause I won't be there
To hold your hand like I used to, I'm through with you
You're a heck of a singer and powerful man but you surround yourself
With people who demand so little of you”

Today, the talented quartet of Little Big Town pays tribute to Kenny Rogers with a very special rendition of ‘Sweet Music Man.’ This electric country group is comprised of Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook. Little Big Town was formed in 1998 and they’ve been churning out hit after hit for decades. Now, they’re honoring one of the greatest country singers as they belt out these powerful words during a performance at the 2020 CMA Awards.

“Oh, but nobody sings a love song quite like you do
Oh, and nobody else can make me sing along
Nobody else can make me feel things are right
When I know they're wrong, nobody sings a love song quite like you”

What an unforgettable tribute!
