Billy Graham Crusade Sermon Shares The Cure For Our Heart Troubles
Check out this encouraging sermon that Billy Graham shared on the cure for our heart troubles today.
Billy Graham was one of the most influential religious leaders in the history of the world. In this video, Billy Graham explains how all evil starts in the human heart at his 1989 Central New York Crusade.
He starts off his sermon quoting Matthew 22:34-40. “Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: ‘Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?’ Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Billy Graham goes on to talk about how God gives us a new heart when we give our life to Him. He then reads Ezekiel 36:26. “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
He reminds us that in order to receive a new heart, we need to repent of sin and receive the Lord by faith. You cannot have a heart change on your own accord.
“I gave my heart to God at a Billy Graham revival at Madison Square Garden when I was 13 years old,” comments someone on YouTube. “My commitment to the Lord has grown and although I am far from perfect, I praise the Lord and his messenger Billy Graham for the good that is within me.”
“I love the Word of God. I find peace in it!” writes another person online. “Billy Graham, thank you for being an exceptional deliverer of the word here on earth! Rest in Peace!”

Have you ever wondered if there is any purpose in your suffering? We certainly don’t go looking for suffering—it comes to us because life is a journey through difficulties and triumphs. Sufferings are a reminder of what Jesus Christ went through and it is a way for us to encourage others.
