Matt Maher And Cody Carnes Compete To Guess Popular Christian Songs

Christian artists Matt Maher and Cody Carnes compete to see who can first guess popular Christian song titles.

Can you guess these songs before worship icons, Matt Maher and Cody Carnes do? Hint: All of them have “Father” in the title. In this video, Matt and Cody go up against hosts of WAY Nation radio to compete against each other for points by correctly guessing the title of each song played. And what unfolds is epically hilarious.

It’s rare to find a show these days that is filled with good, clean fun without having to skip racy commercials or turn off violent scenes. Way Nation Radio does just that with your favorite worship musicians and more. Matt is best known for his chart topping song, “Lord, I Need You,” while Cody is known for his number one worship song, “Run To The Father.”

Now you would think that two well known musicians would know Christain music and worship by heart, but that’s not what unfolds! Can you describe songs as “Worshippy” or “Having daddy issues” or Phil Collinsy?” The best part of the whole competition is the race to ring the bell.

Round two of song guessing even includes a song clip from the show Veggie Tales. Kids of the 90’s would have no trouble naming the song, but for this group of musicians and radio hosts, it was certainly a stretch.

In the bonus round, Todd was stumped by the song, “My Father’s Eyes” by Eric Clapton and said, “This is Jamaica making worship man, it’s like 1988 or something.” To which Matt even agreed and said, “Yeah, I’m going to grow a mullet if we keep listening to this.” Should we tell him mullets are coming back into style for 2020? You go right ahead and leave a comment after watching the video, perhaps Matt will try it out!
