2 Teen Street Buskers Sing Billy Joel's 'Piano Man'

Check out these two talented teen street buskers singing Billy Joel’s ‘Piano Man’ in the streets of Ireland.

“He says, ‘Son, can you play me a memory? I'm not really sure how it goes
But it's sad and it's sweet and I knew it complete, when I wore a younger man's clothes’
La, la, la, di, dee, da, la, la, di, dee, da, da, dum
Sing us a song, you're the piano man, sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody and you've got us feelin' alright”

The two teens are named Allie Sherlock and Cuan Durkin, and they take turns singing the verses of the song and then join together during the chorus. Both of them have wonderful voices and look like they have a great time performing together!

“Hi guys, watch my fellow busker friend, Cuan Durkin, entertain a crowd in Dublin City, Ireland,” writes Allie in the caption of the YouTube video. “We sang ‘Piano Man’ by Billy Joel, but he decided to change some of the lyrics and make some fun of my dad who is behind the camera.”

Halfway through the song, the guy playing the piano for them has a great solo. They all are such a talented bunch of performers! And onlookers on the street stop off on the side to enjoy the lovely show.

“This was fun to watch,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video. “These two are really good in their own rights and they're really in tune with each other.”

“I like them both, great natural sounding talent and the free-spirited way in which they delivered their song,” writes another person on YouTube. “Thank you both, for your time and love of the craft.”

We hope you enjoyed this fun video and the performance of ‘Piano Man’ made you smile!
