In this sweet video, a baby goat and a donkey meet on a farm and become adorable best friends.

Violet is the 4-week-old Lamanche goat that we are introduced to at the beginning of this video. This type of goat is a unique breed, because they are known for their long legs and very short ears.

After Violet’s breakfast, she goes out into the meadow on the farm with her owner Alanna and meets Monty, the farm’s friendly donkey, for the first time. At first, Violet runs away but then Alanna picks her up so Violet can see Monty eye to eye. Monty is extremely curious about Violet, and before long, the pair seem to really hit it off!

Monty just wants to keep following Alanna while she is holding Violet so that he can continue to cuddle with the goat. After their first initial meeting, Violet and Monty have had become best friends and spend plenty of time together now. They enjoy daily visits with one another and have a lot of fun during their play dates.

Best friends can come in all shapes and sizes, and it is so cute to see these two different species getting along so well.
