Teen Leads Worship With 'Trust In You' - Christian Music Videos

The teen singing is Lexi Walker, and she has such a beautiful and smooth voice! And there is so much power in her voice as she builds up to the bigger parts of the song.

She is singing at an event called Night of Hope: A Virtual Music Experience 2020. Before she starts the worship song, she gives an introduction and shares a little bit about what’s been on her heart lately.

“This is such an amazing event to be a part of. It’s so cool how everybody has kind of helped put this together so quickly, and everybody’s contributed their amazing talents and time. So, thank you, guys,” Lexi says. “This is definitely a strange time to be a part of. So many people are experiencing hardships that were not something that was broadcasted last year. We didn’t think this would be happening with COVID.”

Lexi continues: “This song that I’m going to be singing really speaks to the attitude that I’ve been trying to have, which is to just trust in the Lord and turn to God. Because there’s a certain point where we have to do our best and then just kind of hand the rest to the Savior. And the song says it better than I do. So, here it is, ‘Trust in You.’”

This song by Lauren Daigle is from her How Can It Be album that was released in 2015. The song won the GMA Dove Award for Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year.
