'Time In a Bottle' 5-Year-Old Emilie Duets With Dad Playing Piano

In this sweet video, a 5-year-old named Emilie sings a duet with her dad while he is playing the piano to ‘Time in a Bottle’ by Jim Croce.

“If I could save time in a bottle, the first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every day, ‘til eternity passes away, just to spend them with you
If I could make days last forever, if words could make wishes come true
I'd save every day like a treasure and then, again, I would spend them with you”

What a lovely father/daughter collaboration! It just warms my heart. They both are so talented and put on such a wonderful performance! And with only being 5 years old, Emilie has such great vocal control. Her voice is so sweet, and she has a great sense of pitch.

The father and daughter share a sweet high five at the end of their performance of ‘Time in a Bottle.’ What a precious sight!

“Beautiful song. Jim Croce would have been pleasantly surprised to hear your version of his song, a difficult song for a 5-year-old who is accompanied by a master pianist,” comments one person on YouTube. “It’s quite an accomplishment.”

“Bless your family!” writes another person on YouTube. “You are showing us the true nature of us humans...loving and creative.”

May this father and daughter duo keep making beautiful music to share with the world for many years to come!

Hebrews 10:24-25
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
