15-Year-Old's Huge Voice Changes Simon's Mind In A Big Way

You have to listen to this 15-year-old’s huge voice that changed Simon’s mind on Britain’s Got Talent in a big way!

Sarah Ikumu is only 15 years old, but man, does she have one incredibly big talent! God gave Sarah an incredible singing voice and her family knows just how special she is. But when Sarah walked on to the Britain's Got Talent stage and said she was going to sing 'And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going' the judges, especially Simon, were skeptical.

“One of the biggest songs in the world, and you want to take that one on?” Simon said.

But when Sarah started singing, all of their jaws dropped. And Simon started to smile right away; he knows that this is going to be a good audition.

“And I am telling you, I'm not going, you're the best man I'll ever know
There's no way I can ever go, no, no, there's no way, no, no, no
No way I'm living without you, I'm not living without you, I don't wanna be free
I'm staying, I'm staying, and you, and you, you're gonna love me, you're gonna love me”

After Sarah’s phenomenal performance, she gets a standing ovation from the audience and the judges. Everyone is completely blown away by her vocal talent! And Simon even pressed the golden buzzer for her!

“Look, Sarah, I’ve heard this song a lot,” said Simon. “And it started off well. I thought, ‘Yeah, this girl’s great.’ And then, it’s like you became possessed halfway through. It was quite incredible. And for someone of your age, to stand on this stage, with all the nerves and all the pressure, to absolutely not just nail the song, you made it your song.”

What an incredible performance! We hope that you enjoyed watching Sarah’s rendition of this powerhouse song today!
