100-Year-Old Woman Wakes At 3AM To Sew For Operation Christmas Child

Each morning, 100-year-old Eva wakes up between 3 and 4 am. She immediately heads for her sewing machine because she's a woman on a mission with no time to waste. Eva spends her timing making clothes to place in shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.


These boxes will be delivered to children overseas who, otherwise, might not receive a Christmas present. Eva is passionate about her work and says, "I can't get up on a platform and give a message—that isn't my work.

The Lord has given me hands with no arthritis, so I do a lot of sewing—I've been given a talent and I make use of it." What an incredible way to use your talents to help others.
