I wrote this song in 1974 after asking a friend if he had accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He told me he was thinking about it. What was there to think about? I used to walk and pray at that time around the subdivision I lived in. If someone asked what I was doing, I told them, "I'm walking with Jesus."
