Abandoned Puppy Sheds Light On Domestic Violence - Inspirational Videos

3-month-old chihuahua puppy Chewy was sadly abandoned in a bathroom at an airport. Thankfully, someone found Chewy and he was taken to a rescue where he will be placed with an incredible loving family. But don't get mad at Chewy's former owner until you hear her story.

When Chewy was found there was a note with him that said this, “Hi! I’m Chewy! My owner was in an abusive relationship and couldn’t afford me to get on the flight. She didn’t want to leave me with all her heart but she has NO other option. My ex-boyfriend kicked my dog when we were fighting and he has a big knot on his head. He probably needs a vet. I love Chewy sooo much – please love and take care of him.”

Now this tiny dog and his heartbreaking story is drawing attention to the topic of domestic violence. It certainly breaks our hearts to know that this woman had to leave her beloved dog, but we pray that she was able to found herself a safe place to start a new life.
