Christian Couple Caleb And Kelsey Sing 'Be Thou My Vision'

Husband and wife Caleb and Kelsey Grimm perform a beautiful rendition of the hymn ‘Be Thou My Vision.’

This 8th century Irish hymn was translated by Eleanor Hull in 1912. Today, the hymn is sung to the famed Irish folk tune ‘Slane.’ Over the years, many Christian artists have covered the hymn, leading to it’s growing popularity.

Even though we don’t know the original writer, it is believed that the poem may have been written by an Irish saint who experienced blindness later in life. Despite it’s age, the powerful words of this hymn still ring true today.

“Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;
naught be all else to me, save that thou art -
thou my best thought, by day or by night;
waking or sleeping, thy presence my light.”

Caleb and Kelsey Grimm are a Christian couple with a gift for leading worship and praise. Today, they are lending their voices to ‘Be Thou My Vision’ for a breathtaking version of this classic hymn. Just listen as they sit beside one another and beautifully belt out these famous lyrics.

“Be thou my wisdom, and thou my true word;
I ever with thee and thou with me, Lord.
Thou my great Father; thine own may I be,
thou in me dwelling and I one with thee.”

There’s nothing like hearing a classic hymn performed in such a simple, yet beautiful way. These two voices blend together perfectly to create a sound that will make the angels in Heaven smile.
