AGT Alum Angelica Hale Performs 'A Million Dreams' With Children's Choir
We first met this talented singer when she auditioned for the twelfth season of America’s Got Talent in 2017. During her first performance, she easily impressed the judges with her rendition of Andra Day’s ‘Rise Up.’
But it was Angelica’s performance of ‘Girl On Fire’ during the judge’s cuts that earned her the golden buzzer from guest judge Chris Hardwick. Angelica went all the way to the finals where the placed second. She was even invited back for the recent America’s Got Talent: Champions.
Today, she’s taking on another modern classic as she belts out the words to ‘A Million Dreams’ from the musical, The Greatest Showman.
“Cause every night I lie in bed
The brightest colors fill my head
A million dreams are keeping me awake
I think of what the world could be
A vision of the one I see
A million dreams is all it's gonna take
A million dreams for the world we're gonna make”
The Greatest Showman was released in 2017 and starred Hugh Jackman and Michelle Williams. It told the story of P.T. Barnum and how this showman created the Barnum & Bailey Circus. The music featured in the film because an instant classic with ‘A Million Dreams’ becoming a standout hit.
The talented vocals of Angelica and the Dream Kids Choir combine to produce an awe-worthy sound. This entire performance helped benefit the Dream Charter School in Harlem, New York City which helps youth follow their dreams.
