I believe maturity would be a great goal every year!!
If the decision is not made to grow spiritually, milk will remain the main course. Heaven will be their final, destination, but their potential to be used by God on earth will not take shape as it could if they chose the path of maturity.
To feed on pure spiritual milk is an excellent thing, but we cannot live on it if we desire to advance God’s kingdom. We need the strength that comes through solid spiritual food.
“Him we preach and proclaim, warning and admonishing everyone and instructing everyone in all wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God), that we may present every person mature (full-grown, fully initiated, complete, and perfect) in Christ (the Anointed One).” Colossians 1:28 AMP
