February, 16, 2020 - Cycle A - 6th Ordinary - Choosing to Follow God’s Plan for Our Lives - Presented by Deacon Bob Pladek
Peace to everyone,
It can be that annoying speed limit when we’re in a hurry. It can be a broken promise in a marriage. It can be a relative we can’t forgive because they offended us 25 years ago. It can be swearing when we’re frustrated. It can be skipping Mass that interferes with our plans for the weekend.
In today’s Gospel, we hear Jesus begin His public ministry by addressing a number of “Rules” (or laws) that were ignored by the “rule benders” of His day.
In this message, I share a true story about a man, Jimmy, who spent decades as an alcoholic, and how his life became a teaching example to challenge our understanding of what Jesus teaches us about God’s plan for our lives.

Today's Devotional
A Prayer to Help You Comfort Others - Your Daily Prayer - April 25
Have you ever wondered if there is any purpose in your suffering? We certainly don’t go looking for suffering—it comes to us because life is a journey through difficulties and triumphs. Sufferings are a reminder of what Jesus Christ went through and it is a way for us to encourage others.
