Celtic Reptile

In the artwork of the ancient Celts, creatures like this can be found adorning manuscripts, jewelry etc. Interlacing Celtic animals such as this are called zoomorphs and this particular type of creature is commonly reffered to as a reptile, although I think mine looks a bit more amphibious.

The making of: Because I was really organized today, and to keep everything from moving around between frames, I put a cardboard box on top of the project and duct taped everything down. I cut a hole in the top of the box for my camara and taped it down, cut out one side of it and taped down the light source, (in this case my light box) and then I cut out the other side and taped on a cardboard flap so I could move the clay and let it down while I take the picture. I think it came out rather well. The only thing that I didn't tape or glue down was the creature. The lighting came out too light so I darkened it with windows movie maker.
