Skate Park Evangelism -- Castle Rock -- CJ

While we gave out free food and drinks to the kids at the skate park over the weekend, I had a chance to speak with CJ about matters of faith.

CJ was surprisingly well-read when it came to spiritual beliefs, but unfortunately decided that there is no God. Although we went through the basics of what the Bible says together, he remained steadfast in his views that there is no Heaven, Hell, or anything to be concerned about after we die. He just wants to live for the moment.

This kind of preaching is still important because there were at least a dozen others around us who were listening to the Gospel and understanding where they stood with God. Even though the person with whom we are speaking may reject the message of Jesus Christ, it gives opportunities to reach those who are around and being passive members of the audience.

Remember to still pray for CJ.

Today's Devotional

A Prayer to Give Grace to Moms This Mother's Day (and Every Day) - Your Daily Prayer - May 10

Imagine the beauty of this season if we embraced showing up without asking, speaking to effort and not just results, giving permission to not be okay, and praying for moms. Let’s be people who see the graciousness and compassion of our God and long to pour it out on others.
