Skate Park Evangelism -- Castle Rock -- Scott
I went by the skate park at about sunset on Friday, giving out free water, and handed a bottle to Scott. I noticed an interesting tattoo on his shoulder that listed two dates, and asked him what they represented.
Scott said that the dates were in memoriam to his father. His dad went to a bar one night when Scott was 15, got into a fight with four other men, and was killed. I offered my condolences, and used that talk as a springboard to ask the question, "What happens to us when we die?
Scott was a great guy to chat with, and after I switched off the camera, he had a few more questions about things like, "Why should we worship God?" and, "Why should we go to church?" I hope that the Holy Spirit works on his heart and saves him.
