Take a Look - Week 5 - Part 2 - How Do I Become a Christian?
This is the second part of the fifth and final talk in the evangelical series following our "Open Sunday" in January 2009. The series was intended to give visitors (particularly non-Christian visitors) the chance to get to know us, and to understand some of the things we believe.
In this talk, Mark spoke about how a person becomes a Christian.
In this concluding part of the talk, he discussed the practicalities of what you should do when you decide you want to become a Christian. This was based primarily on a look at the examples of people's conversions as recorded in the book of Acts. The three main components that stand out in those accounts are listening, belief (faith) and baptism. He also talked about when is it the "right time" for someone to make that decision.
