The Canon of Scripture and the Roman Catholic Church
This is a response to !r;tions being made about the Canon of Scripture and the accusation that Protestants "removed" books from the Bible. I use quotes from "official" Roman CAtholic sources to show 1) that Rome did not have an Infallible Canon until April 8, 1546 at the fourth session of the Council of Trent. 2) to show that the early FAthers followed the opinion of Jerome up until Trent, which was 22 books in the OT (corresponds to the Protestants 39) and 27 NT books. The evidence is irrefutable and able to be seen by all if they are willing to look it up. God bless
