"Michael's Journey" - Swil Kanim composed this song in honor of his brother Michael. It is about the journey Michael took as a young foster child when he ran away from the abusive foster home he was in. He walked over 120 miles to find his Mom. Swil Kanim remembers opening the garage door to let Michael sneak out to begin his journey. Swil Kanim looked out the little garage door window to wave goodbye to Michael one last time but Michael didn't look back. Swil Kanim was at first angry that he wouldnt look back at him but then he bacame proud when he realized his little brother was looking forward and NOT looking back.

Michael was only 12 and he completed his journey and was reunited with his Mother.
