Sermon: "The Refreshing Wells of Salvation," Conclusion
I was startled by the words of the Water Department official who informed me that the small Texas community I was serving might soon be engaged in "range wars" for scarce water resources. With the increase of populations and pollution, the availability of clean, fresh drinking water is becoming a critical issue in communities across the United States and around the world. Long ago the prophet Isaiah spoke of God's provision of water for his thirsty people, whose thirst transcended the ordinary needs for water into a thirst for the living God. Watch as Pastor MacLaren shows God's answer for our thirsty souls. This sermon was preached at First Presbyterian Church (Orthodox Presbyterian), in Perkasie, PA, on July 19, 2009.
