Part Five - Promise Ring Ceremony at WCC
This is a promise ring ceremony that took place on Friday, May 1, 2009. During this ceremony the participants made the following pledge: In order to worship God, honor my family and cherish my future spouse, I commit my life to sexual purity. I promise to honor God with my body, renew my mind for good, turn my eyes from worthless things, and above all else, guard my heart. One of the pastors at the church and his daughter sings the song - I Promise - which was made popular by Jaci Velasquez from her Heavenly Place album.
