Comedian on How This Caretaker Will Always Remain Undefeated

One comedian hilariously explained how this caretaker will always remain undefeated. Anjelah Johnson-Reyes knows exactly who she wants to take care of her when she’s under the weather. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear Anjelah talk about how a mother’s care hits different when you’re sick.

Good health is a blessing that many of us take for granted all too often. Whenever we are under the weather, we quickly realize how precious it is to be healthy. Whether it's the flu, COVID or a regular, common, everyday cold, being sick is no fun. When we’re battling the sickness, all we want is to be healthy again.

However, until we are better and up on our feet, often the best remedy is to stay hydrated and get plenty of sleep. Most people do not run to the doctor every time they feel a slight tickle in their throat, and that’s because often the best caretaker in their lives was at home: their mother. Moms seem to have this ingrained knowledge of how to make you feel better, no matter your age.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Anjelah stated that while visiting her parents, she got sick. While her husband was with her and tried his best to care for her, Anjelah had a clear preference when it came to her caretaker.

“I was visiting my mom, I got sick, so she was taking care of me, right?” she said. “But my husband was there, too, and he wanted to be the one to take care of me. So, he was like, ‘Bab, is there anything I can do for you?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, can you move out of the way so my mom could get to me faster?’”

Later in the clip, Anjelah’s husband asked for some guidance in making Theraflu. She responded in the most hilarious way possible.

Jeremiah 17:14 “Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.”
