Is there anything better than being a parent? Sure, those little ones may get on your nerves at times, leave you exhausted and sleep-deprived. Their sporadic and momentary inability to hear and listen to the words that come out of your mouth may be beyond maddening and infuriating. However, being a mother and father is the best and most important title and position you’ll ever receive.

All children love playing with their friends. But most of the time, what they really want is to spend as much time with you as possible, at least until they become teenagers, anyway. It doesn’t matter what the activity is, either; they simply want to be included and with you. A clip posted on YouTube captures the unbridled joy and happiness of a little boy when his father informed him that he was being included in a planned outing.

The precious, heartwarming video begins with the little boy gathering snacks for his father to take along on his big hunting outing. When the young man enthusiastically delivered the bag of snacks to his father, he learned that he was coming along. His father was taking him on the deer hunt. The youngster could not have been more thrilled to hear this.

“I’m not going to be able to eat all of this by myself,” the little boy’s father said.

“Why?” the youngster asked.

“’Cause you’re going to have to come with me,” his father responded.

Immediately after hearing this, the little guy’s face lights up. He kicks up his feet and screams with delight, “Thanks, Daddy!”

That will be one hunt neither of them will ever forget. Even if they come up empty, I’m guessing that will be a terrific outing.
