Nate Bargatze hilariously revealed what he’s learned from his daughter’s homework. The popular funnyman shares some of the lessons he’s picked up while assisting with her schoolwork. Watch the short but laugh-out-loud funny clip to hear about Nate’s newly acquired facts and knowledge.
An education is something that will never be complete. Regardless of how many degrees someone might obtain, they will not have mastered everything in their field. That’s because there is always more knowledge and information available, always something to read and learn.
Therefore, anyone who claims that once they leave school, they are done learning is either naïve or woefully misinformed. Every day, there are opportunities to learn something new, and failing to take advantage of them would be a massive mistake. Going through life ignorant and unaware is no way to live.
In a clip posted on YouTube, Nate hilariously shared what his daughter and her elementary schoolwork have taught him. Part of being a parent is helping children with their homework, and not only did his daughter learn something, but so did Nate. What he learned is likely to surprise you.
“I have learned stuff from elementary homework, which is embarrassing,” Nate said. “I’m 41, my daughter’s 8. Nothing should ever come out of her mouth that I’m, like, ‘What? What was that?’”
Later in the clip, he mentions specifically what he has learned while helping with her schoolwork.
“I learned when to use ‘a or ‘an in a sentence,” he said. “I didn’t know there was a rule in play. I thought you felt it out, you know? You just go, ‘That feels right,’ and that’s what you do.”
He also learned about proper comma usage.
“I do the same thing with a comma,” he said. “If I’ve never known where a comma’s supposed to go. If I feel a comma’s coming, I try to get out of that sentence so bad.”
Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the Lord is the start of knowledge: but the foolish have no use for wisdom and teaching.”
