Child's Hilarious Impersonation of Parent Working

Children are full of energy, typically running wildly from one place to another. One minute, they want to do this, while the next minute, they really want to do that. Every parent understands this struggle and how difficult it can be to keep up with a child. Getting them to go down for a nap is usually an uphill and, often, losing battle. At least you tried, right?

However, while children often resemble crazed, feral animals as they run about wildly, they are still paying attention and watching. Yes, as crazy as it may seem, those youngsters hear what you say and do. Whether parents understand this or not, what they say and do greatly influences those little ones. A sweet and hilarious clip posted on YouTube perfectly demonstrates this to be the case.

In the video, the little girl does her best impression of one of her parents at work. She knows exactly what to do and what to say. She sits down at the laptop and immediately picks up a cell phone. While holding the phone near her ear, she periodically turns around in the chair, making comments that every parent has said to their child when in that situation.

“Go get a snack,” the child says. “Ssshh! I’m on a call.”

To make her spot-on impersonation even funnier, the child picks up the coffee cup beside her and pretends to drink from it on occasion in the video. She also types away on the keyboard in front of her.

This hysterical clip shows that even when we don’t think they are, those little ones always pay attention—closely monitoring, watching and listening to what we do and say.
