In the wilderness, after fasting forty days and nights, Jesus was tested by the devil.
Three times He was tempted — with bread, with power, and with glory.
Three times He resisted — standing firm on the Word of God.

This powerful passage reminds us that when we face trials and temptation, God’s Word gives us the strength to overcome.

Lord, help us to resist temptation.
Strengthen us with Your Word.
Guide us to trust You always. Amen.
