You’ll Laugh at What This Cat Does When Food Doesn’t Arrive on Time

You'll laugh at what this cat does when its food doesn't arrive on time. The animal clearly needed its food immediately, and when that didn't happen, it had to resort to more drastic and hilarious measures. Watch the short but hysterical clip to see what the animal did when its food was a few minutes late.

Animals, just like humans, are creatures of habit and routine. Everyone likes their routines and habits. They are safe, comforting and familiar, making us feel and believe that we have control over our days and lives. Even if we don't realize it, we most certainly have habits and routines we follow and develop.

But watch out when and if those routines are disrupted for any reason. Even the slightest disruption has the potential to ruin our entire day, making us feel off and out of sorts. Of course, this happens to everyone, but (hopefully) we are able to adjust and move on without too much trouble and pain.

However, a clip posted on social media shows what a cat did when its mealtime routine was momentarily interrupted. The feline, which eats typically at 6 p.m., had to improvise when its food did not arrive on time.

The cat decided to eat something until its food arrived, so it ate bites out of the air. The video shows the cat taking bites from an imaginary food bowl. Not only does the animal take bites, but it even licks its mouth, as if it has actually ingested food.

The video's text clearly shows that the feline was acting this way after its food was a whole four minutes late. Can you imagine what tactics the animal would have had to resort to if its food was 10 minutes late or, God forbid, a half hour past six?

Genesis 1:21 "And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good."
