As most people know, exercising is not always easy. Yes, we all understand exercise is good for us and necessary, but that hardly makes it simple or even an enjoyable task. Often, it’s quite the opposite. Exercise is an activity that many people have to force themselves to do. That’s why it’s essential to find something you enjoy doing when it comes to exercise; otherwise, you won’t be motivated to stick with it.

Even though most of the population does not enjoy exercising, many people still manage to force themselves to do it. That kind of commitment and determination is commendable and deserves to be recognized, but it rarely, if ever, is. In a clip posted on social media, someone took the time to do just that, and it came from a most unexpected source.

The short, black-and-white clip shows a father and his young daughter in the kitchen. The little girl walks into the room and asks her father a question as she does so. She wants to know where he’s headed early in the morning.

“Daddy, are you going to the gym?” the child asks.

“Yes, daddy’s going to the gym,’ the father answers his daughter.

What the child says next will not only surprise you but may even bring a tear or two to your eye.

“Wow, I’m so proud of you,” the little one tells her father.

Dad immediately stops what he’s doing and, in shock, looks down at his little one. He clearly cannot believe her words.
