It's been said that everyone has the right to their opinions, not their own set of facts. However, in recent years, it seems that many people are working from their own set of facts—many of which are not facts at all but opinions and feelings that are being passed off as facts and agreed-upon conclusions. This deceptive, harmful activity, where thoughts and feelings are considered fact, can be seen in many different areas and places throughout society.

If we as a society cannot agree on what constitutes a fact, then we are in big trouble. We will simply continue talking over one another and never come to an agreement on anything. “Truth Rising” is a documentary that the attempts to redefine facts and truth and other foundational concepts that people have relied on and agreed upon for thousands of years.

The film features interviews with and appearances from notable people such as Seth Dillon, the CEO of the popular satire website The Babylon Bee, and Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a bestselling author, free speech champion and human rights activist.

The documentary’s website describes the movie as more than just a film. Instead, “it’s a call to action at a critical time in our culture. As faith, identity, and morality are being redefined, this documentary exposes the civilizational moment we are living in.”
