Tim Conway’s Battle with a Plant Will Have You Laughing Out Loud

Tim Conway’s battle with a plant will have you laughing out loud. The legendary comedian and comedic actor got into quite a physical entanglement with an unexpected foe during a hysterical skit on The Carol Burnett Show. Watch the short but hilarious clip in which Tim battles against a plant (Yes, you read that right).

Some people are naturally good with plants and crops. They and their green thumb are seemingly born knowing how much water and sunlight a particular plant or crop needs. They can keep anything alive and thriving, while others aren’t so great with plants. Anything they do typically ends with the plant shriveling and dying, never to return.

A lot of knowledge and skill is required to be a successful gardener and farmer. Even though it may appear to be the case from the outside, someone doesn’t just wake up one morning and become an expert gardener. It takes time, energy and work, just like anything else worthwhile in this life. Also, an uproarious clip posted on YouTube points out that caring for a plant takes a fair amount of strength, brute force and physical endurance.

In the clip, Tim is a customer at a flower shop, where Carol Burnett plays the proprietor. He is hoping to return and replace a plant, and nothing else. He had picked up a “crummy plant,” and wants to make an exchange. He claims the plant “hates him.” Carol’s character, a bit of an oddball (to put it lightly), addresses the plants as if they were people. She talks to them and even apologizes to them.

At first, it’s unknown why Tim is so adamant about getting rid of the plant he had purchased, but that soon becomes crystal clear. When Carol leaves the room, the massive plant behind Tim becomes alive and physically picks him up as the two of them get into a hilarious physical altercation, where Tim is battling for his life.

Neither of them is willing to give an inch in this hysterical clip!

Genesis 1:12 “And the earth brought forth grass, herbs yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, wherein is the seed thereof, after their kind: and God saw that it was good.”
