MercyMe’s “Why Not Now, Why Not Me” official music video is here, and it’s a hit. It’s humorous and full of life. Take a peek at the video to see and hear the fun song.

“It’s here! There was absolutely no fun involved in the making of this music video,” the band joked. 

In the video, the five-member band showcases their middle-aged masculinity. They wear vacation outfits that feature Hawaiian flowers, bucket hats, high socks, baseball caps, and the U.S. flag. As the members sing about only caring what Jesus thinks of them, they slide down slip-n-slides, dance from side to side, play in kiddie pools, light fireworks, and play bean bag toss.

“Why Not Now, Why Not Me” is a fun song about how now is your moment to “shine.” It emphasizes that it’s time to stop caring about what others think and care about what Jesus thinks. Everyone has immense value and worth to Him.
