An education is one thing in life that will never be complete. No matter how many degrees one obtains, there will always be more information, facts and figures to learn. It’s impossible to know all there is to know. Being a lifelong learner is something everyone should strive to be.

However, while an education will forever remain incomplete, graduating from high school, college, or another form of schooling should be recognized and celebrated. It is an important milestone and accomplishment. Obtaining a degree requires a lot of hard work, perseverance and study. Degrees and diplomas are not given; they are earned.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a young man adorably expresses his joy and excitement for his mother’s educational accomplishment. He was not shy about letting everyone in the arena know when she was making her way across the stage to get her diploma.

“Yeah, that’s my mom!” the young man yells. “Yeah, that’s my mommy!”

To make the clip even cuter, while the little guy is yelling and celebrating his mother, there is a collective “aww” from everyone in the arena. They were as touched and moved by the child’s reaction as you and I.

Graduating from college is a significant moment in everyone’s life. Walking across that stage is a moment that will surely stay with everyone, and why shouldn’t it? It’s a massive accomplishment.
