This dad’s lawnmower lesson for his daughter didn’t quite work out. The father intended to show his youngster how to operate a lawnmower and how to use it to cut the grass. Parenting is easily one of the most challenging tasks anyone can undertake on Earth. Many, likely rightfully so, would argue that being a mother or a father is the toughest thing to do. Parenting comes with massive responsibilities. Moms and dads are responsible for someone else’s life, which means several things.

One of the responsibilities of parenting is disciplining and teaching your children. Those youngsters will not get very far in life without an adequate and proper education inside and outside the classroom. Teaching them incorporates all kinds of things, including how to and the value and necessity of work. Work is no fun, but it’s something that we all have to do to survive and provide a living.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a father attempts to show his little girl how to operate a lawnmower correctly. Things start on the right foot, but they quickly and hilariously go downhill.

“As a dad, there are a few life skills that you must know,” the father says. “One of them is how to start a lawnmower. If you don’t know, I’m going to teach you. At the same time, you can teach your own kid as well.”

His little girl then appears on screen and closely watches her father as he prepares the lawnmower to cut the lawn. He spells out everything for her, showing her exactly what he’s doing as he talks about it.

But when it comes to starting the lawnmower, the machine does not want to cooperate. Eventually, the two lightly kick the lawnmower, and the father proposes another activity.

“Should we go just watch some TV?” Dad asks his daughter.
