Comedian Jokes That Every Conversation With His Wife Is a Guessing Game

A comedian jokes that every conversation between him and his wife is a never-ending guessing game. He mentions he and his wife have reached the point in their marriage where their memories aren’t what they used to be, which makes for interesting conversations. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear how every conversation turns into a game neither of them wins.

Time waits for no one, as it’s constantly marching forward. Of course, that means aging is a process that no one can escape or avoid. Even though we may exercise daily, eat a nutritious, well-balanced diet and take vitamin supplements regularly, we cannot and will not stop getting older. That’s a fact of life.

That means that our bodies, over the years, will start to break down slowly. We can’t do the same things we could once do at 25 in our 50s or 60s. There are many signs of aging, likely some of which you’ve already experienced. One of the most noticeable is that the memory is not what it was in our youth.

In a clip posted on YouTube, comedian Jeff Allen explains how he and his wife’s faltering memories have started to hilariously impact their conversations. Jeff says he and his wife have difficulty recalling people, places and things. Their conversations quickly become a series of guessing games.

“We honestly can’t remember a thing,” he said. “We really can’t. It’s just a game show. We just start guessing and going, ‘No, that’s not...”

Later in the clip, Jeff specifically points out a conversation in which his wife remembered seeing someone on TV with whom Jeff had worked once. However, she couldn’t remember the man’s name, height or where Jeff had worked with this person. Jeff tried to help her figure it out, but in the end, things went unsolved.

Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”
