Comedian Spots a Road Sign in Indiana and Turns It into Comedy Gold

A comedian spotted a road sign while in Indiana and turned it into comedy gold. The sign is one that you likely will not see, but the message on it does raise some concerns. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear what was on the road sign and the very important questions and concerns the comedian raised.

In a very polarized, divided world, where agreement on anything is hard to come by, comedy is one of the few things universally loved. Who doesn’t love to laugh? There are many different kinds of comedy. There is bound to be a type for every taste, preference and sense of humor.
However, the best comedy is relatable, and when there is some nugget of truth to the joke.

When the subject or topic being mocked or ridiculed is something we’ve all encountered at some point, everyone can get in on the laughs, making for a much better joke. In a clip posted on YouTube, comedian Aaron Weber recalls the distressing and highly concerning road sign he spotted in northern Indiana.

“I was in northern Indiana a couple weeks ago, not doing comedy, just sightseeing,” he said. “And I drove past a prison there. I wasn’t going to prison. I didn’t know there was a prison around until I saw a sign. This is a real sign, out of nowhere, ‘Medium Security Prison Nearby. Do Not Pick Up Hitchhikers.’”

This raises a lot more questions than it answers. Later in the clip, Aaron pointed out how the sign’s message is likely to be received.

“That sign does feel like they’re saying, ‘Look, they’re getting out, alright? And it’s happened a bunch. It’s happening right now. We don’t know what to do. We’re only a medium security prison. Why don’t we put it on y’all a little bit? Stop picking ‘em up every time!’”

Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”
