A young man freed a skunk from a troublesome position, and what happened next is comedy gold. Likely no one expected the wild animal to do what it did, and its unexpected action will surely leave you laughing. We all find ourselves in troubling, challenging and unfortunate positions at times. Sometimes, we are there because of our decisions and choices; other times, that is not the case. We might be there through no fault of our own. Regardless of how we got there, the fact remains that we are in a bad spot and need help getting out of it.

Even if we hate to admit it, the fact is that we all need help at one time or another. As John, Paul, George and Ringo sang about, we all get by with a little help from our friends. A hilarious clip posted on YouTube shows how a skunk had found itself in an odd position and definitely required help if it were going to escape its predicament.

The video begins with the young man reaching to help a skunk stuck in a skate bowl. However, knowing that skunks tend to spray people when alarmed, the young man devised an ingenious way to help the creature. Instead of reaching down with his hand to pull the skunk up, he tied a chain on the end of his skateboard for the animal to grab so that he could pull it up. Of course, this created enough space between him and the skunk so that he could avoid it if it were to spray.

But then something unexpected happened. Once the helpful skater had rescued the skunk, the animal was heading home with some newfound treasure.

The skunk started to take off with the skateboard!
