Golden Retriever’s Odd but Sweet Response When Owners Hug

A golden retriever has an odd but sweet response whenever its owners hug. The pup apparently loves when its owners show one another a little affection. Watch the short but adorable clip to see the surprising and precious way the animal responds when its owners hug.

Dogs are easily some of the best creatures on Earth. Yes, cats are warm, cuddly and terrific critters, too. However, even self-professed cat people will have to acknowledge that there is something special about dogs. After all, it’s dogs that are referred to as man’s best friend, not cats.

Canines love unconditionally and are loyal to a fault. Not only that, but most dogs are overjoyed, unable to contain their happiness every time you walk through the door. It does not matter if you’ve been gone for five minutes, five days or five months; a dog will smother you with love and slobbery, wet kisses every time. Humans really do not deserve dogs. A clip posted on social media shows how much one pup loves its owners, especially when they show one another some affection.

In the video, a man, a woman and their beautiful golden retriever are gathered in the kitchen. The dog is a big ball of energy, waiting to explode. As the young woman passes by the canine, it senses that something is about to happen. So, the animal keeps a close eye on the two individuals.

Once the dog notices they are about to hug, it begins furiously chasing its tail, hoping to capture that ever-elusive part of itself. Oddly, as soon as the man and woman stop hugging, the pup ceases chasing its tail.

To show that the animal’s reaction was not a one-time occurrence, the couple hugs two more times, and each time the pup responds in the same manner by frantically chasing after its tail.

Why do some animals do what they do? There are some questions we may never know the answer to.

Genesis 1:21 “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
